The book contains ten collections of poetry
and book-length poems, all written between 1970 and 1999, and constitutes
the second volume of the author's collected poetry. The first volume,
Poems about Nothing and Other Poems
on the Same Subject, appeared in 1970. In these works, the
author continues to further develop his radically new poetics and
vivid use of language.

Yuriy Tarnawsky is a bilingual Ukrainian/English
author, member of the New York Group, a group of Ukrainian émigré
avant-garde writers, Association of the Writers of Ukraine, and
Fiction Collective, an organization of American non-commercial writers.
Considered one of the most radical modernists in Ukrainian literature,
he has authored nineteen collections of poetry, seven plays, and
nine books of prose. He resides near New York.
