This issue celebrates the 100-th anniversary of the Tarnovs'kyi Historical Museum in Chernihiv, with articles describing the history of the Museum, its collections and some of its prominent scholars. This institution is one of the oldest and richest of its kind in Ukraine, with 150,000 items available for display and/or research. Articles include: artifacts from the Kyїv-Rus period, weapons from as early as the sixteenth century, silver frames for editions of the gospels, seals and stamps, embroidery from as early as the fourteenth century, icons, and descriptions of book making.
