Mostly on "primitive" or naive painting in Ukraine, typically painted by village/peasant masters for home use. This topic up to now has been rarely and usually incompletely addressed. "Primitives" include pictorial representations of village scenes, landscapes, icons, and special themes such as kozak-mamai.
